Design Philosophy

Every product I make has to earn its weight. If it adds mass, it must add value.

Your 3D printed tools and accessories should never be the weak link in your toolbox. I'm designing them to be built to handle real work and stand up to real use across Canada's wide variety of harsh & unforgiving work sites.

I design everything in-house, from the first CAD sketch to printing, then provide free testing samples to a wide network of companies, acquaintances, friends, & family consisting of Canadian trades professionals from Electricians to Oil & Gas workers for testing (frankly, a network that bigger companies could only hope to buy into) - prior to launching them. That’s how I ensure every product is reliably yours to use & abuse.

Additionally, when components on more complicated items inevitably fail - tools should be made to be as user serviceable as possible. It's Sunday, you're in the middle of nowhere, and you need to fix one of my products - when possible you should be able to fix it on your own, or in the very least toss my product to the side & keep working.

With over 12 years of experience in commercial renovations working on the road across Western Canada & over 100 construction projects worked on - I know what breaks & why.

In fact, I really hope you ❤️ the products you order here - which is why I have a 30 day refund policy (no return shipping required - as in, yes, keep the items) for purchases from this site directly (refund policy).

Though I hope you'll provide valuable information on improving my designs if & when you desire a refund.

As a proudly Canadian, owner-operated business — just one man and his dog backed by parents that are way too patient & mentored in the shadows of men far greater than I — I’m committed to making sure you get the most out of my products and succeed in your line of work — so from humble beginnings in the Canadian maker/hackerspace community to working in a wide variety of construction projects — I'm born & raised British Columbia & carved by the hard working people of Alberta & abroad.

In other words,

"Here I am."
